Pictures from today – -April 11th

A few members of ABWIG took a stroll through the park this morning to see if there were any plants, that are located where the containment area will be built, that can be temporarily moved  to help defray the cost of replanting.  There are lots of beach sunflowers that could use a “foster home” while we are dredging.  Would you be willing to babysit a beach sunflower?

Below are pictures from the park that were taken on our walk this morning.  We had the pleasure of sharing our walk with seabirds, sailboats and sunflowers.  DSCN1217

Took a walk in the park today to see if there were any plants that we can save before the containment area is built.

Fellow AB folks and visitors, the Nature Park is our piece of paradise. Help us defray the cost of ABWIG’s plant purchase by nurturing some of these native plants for a couple of months until we replant them. Please contact us at if you can help us with a donation or by nurturing some native plants. Thank you!
