At last week’s (April 15th) regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Hillsborough County Commissioners voted to approve a license agreement between the County and ABWIG.  This signed agreement allows for County funding up to $50,000 for the channel dredging and beach re-nourishment project.  This has been anticipated for months but it is now “official”.  Many thanks to the Commissioners and their Chairperson, Sandra Murman for supporting this project.  Special thanks to Patricia Austin, ABWIG Board VP for her contributions toward making this happen.  We are another step closer to starting “the Dig” to BRING THE BEACH BACK TO APOLLO BEACH!
